Cracked Chrysalis. Life is a Story - story.one

Their Chrysalis is the biggest moment in a fairy's life. The transition from a young caterpillar into an adult butterfly. And Sora loves the wings he gained in his pupa. But everyone else seems to think they are too much. Too shiny, too big, too "girly". Sora isn't a girl, not after the Chrysalis. So he travels through the forest, to the Wise Old Toadstool, where his wings can be fixed. On the way he meets other inhabitants of the forest. Those that don't even realize that the fairies wings are "wrong." Those that simply like Sora for who he is. And in the end, perhaps "Wise and Old" does not necessarily mean correct. An exploration of the author's internal struggle with their own more feminine perceived features, and their acceptance of them.
