The Great Jungle Race

This is a children's book for kids ranging from birth to 12 years of age. The Great Jungle Race: Who will take First place is comprised up of three main characters. Parker the Parrot and Tyson the Tiger are loyal friends and although an unlikely pair they have found support in one another. Throughout the book the characters in the jungle are preparing for a great Jungle Race and Tyson the Tiger is afraid to compete against his nemesis Chance the Cheetah. Tyson is afraid that Chance will win and makes it apparent that he does not want to race despite his friend Parkers encouragement. Chance the Cheetah and his family have a winning legacy and all the jungle animals are aware of their physical strength and dominance. Each year the Cheetah family win the Great Jungle Race leaving all in their dust. With this knowledge Parker the Parrot is determined to support and encourage her friend. She prevails and Tyson decides to race. On race day the animals all show up from near and far. Determination, support, engagement, and belief from a friend allows Tyson to not give up on him. The book concludes with a celebration of a winner. The reader will have to find out who takes 1st place in the Great Jungle Race!
