Reality is often more amazing than fiction. We can read incredible stories in books, but sometimes, we hear real stories that are so unbelievable, we can hardly comprehend them.
I heard this story from my dear friend Shenaya Kodikara. At the time, she was training under a psychologist as a trainee counselor.
"A handsome boy came in and said he was a female before. We couldn't even believe it. But you know the worst part? He had a male upper body and a female bottom. . ."
Those words made me uneasy, and I couldn't imagine how he faced his life. It must have been terrible, and he was in severe depression at that moment.
