Valérie Boivin lives and works in Québec City. After studying graphic design at Université Laval, she decided to devote herself to illustration. Since then, she has happily illustrated several picture books--some of which have even won awards along the way. Jaja la nuit is her very first comic book for young readers, and it's in full color! Valérie loves to draw and is an avid admirer of the work of fellow illustrators. She shares her life with Marcel, a banana-loving rabbit. She believes that glossy paper is a scandal, and that reading is the most wonderful experience there is.
