Just when Kota Lee thought things might settle down, the past slithered back in.
It was quiet at first. It was just a letter. Like many letters from before. It seemed harmless, especially if he never read them. He was too busy with his team, and taking care of his mother and sister to worry. Sang was a priority now, too.
And now, suddenly, everything changed.
Because jail wasn't a forever box to hold his father in.
With his team moving across the city to live, Kota needs to stay behind. He's following his own mother to make sure she's staying safe, and asking for Sang's help to split the duties he has for the team.
Kota cannot be everywhere at once. He's only human. And he's out of favors for the Academy. With his split attention and so far away from everyone, Kota is running on near empty just trying to get everywhere he needs to be.
Sometimes life dictates a need for change and it isn't always where you want. The situation has left Sang to discover how critical Kota is to the team, and keeping the connection when one of their strongest needs help himself.
The Academy, nuanced.
