Hi, How Are You?

Katy Franklin was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York City and Los Angeles. She has worked in talent management and marketing for the arts, casting for musical theatre, and as a casting assistant for ABC television's Primetime Casting department in both New York and Los Angeles. Her writing experience includes short stories and articles for well-known dating and travel blogs. She is also very proud to say she has worked as a waitress on and off for six years. Her wild, humorous, enlightening and sometimes unbelievable experiences in the service industry prompted her to write this novel. Some of Katy's very favorite things include reading, writing, traveling and macaroni and cheese. She currently resides in Chicago. This is her first novel.
