This book is based on the practical manual for orthopaedic trauma used in the department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Chinese University in the past 15 years and on the teaching material used in the Bioskill Training Workshop organised by the Asian Association for Dynamic Osteosynthesis since 1993. This book provides the practical guidelines and current trend in managing musculoskeletal trauma for first line surgeons dealing with these conditions. It serves as a comprehensive and precise quick reference in daily clinical practice. It provides simple and clear information for those involve in daily patient care and to medical students studying orthopaedics and traumatology.
The first volume contains the practical protocols for clinical management. The second volume contains the detailed descriptions of common operations in musculoskeletal trauma.
