He offers an objective chronicle of the events that occurred during that hot August when Cheyenne and Sioux warriors swept down on the Oregon-California Trail -- as seen through the eyes of the settlers who lived along that famous emigrant road.
Ronald Becher is a native of Nebraska. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska. "Massacre along the Medicine Road" is his first book. He currently resides in Valparaiso, Nebraska.
