Solace in Verse

Solace in Verse was penned by the author in the last few years after he retired and while living in Costa Blanca, Spain. The majority of Migel Jayasinghe's poems are his response to this new environment, while others hark back to his origins in Sri Lanka. A few touch on contemplative and philosophical themes. One critic commented that these "pages reflect an imagination that is at times playful and at others serious, but always expressed with the utmost clarity and accuracy."
