Praise for The Kill Switch: "Exceptional . . . A spin-off from bestseller Rollins's Sigma Force series introduces U. S. Army Ranger Tucker Wayne and his four-footed partner, a small Belgian Shepherd named Kane. . . . The action careens across Russia and into South Africa, where Tucker and Kane must go underground to find a deadly life form. Rollins and Blackwood succeed brilliantly." - Publishers Weekly (starred review)

"The taut and complex story sprints across the globe from Russia to Istanbul to southern Africa to the United States, and offers a diverse cast of well-developed characters and a tightly woven plot that intrigues, excites, and doesn't let go." - Library Journal (starred review)

"Rollins knows how to deliver a terrific page turner, and teaming up with Blackwood, co-author of novels with Clive Cussler and Tom Clancy, proves to be a success. The mix of Blackwood's military knowledge and Rollins' background as a veterinarian makes the narrative seem authentic. While Tucker Wayne is a terrific character, the star of the novel is Kane, a Belgian Malinois and one of the best dogs in thriller literature. The Kill Switch is the start of a new series, and the next book cannot come soon enough." - Huffington Post

"A fantastic adventure story with non-stop action [that] shows the close bond between dog and partner, and the readers will fall in love with this canine and his handler." - Crimespree Magazine

"In The Kill Switch James Rollins and Grant Blackwood have managed to combine two sure-fire favorites: lots of action and a brilliant, memorable dog. The pages keep turning quickly as danger is topped by more danger and violence is avoided only rarely. Throughout the story the reader will enjoy the twists and turns the action takes as much as the reader will enjoy the clever ruses that Tucker takes to fulfill his mission. Love dogs? Love action and adventure books? Love it when the good guy wins? Don't miss The Kill Switch. It's all that and more." - Examiner. com
