Russell ist vier und dreißig Jahre alt und ist glücklich. Der Job macht ihm Spaß, seine Tochter London ist sein Augenstern und seine Frau Vivian erinnert ihn immer wieder an Pretty Woman. Doch dann kommt alles, wirklich alles ins Wanken. Russell verliert seinen Job, die Kosten für das Haus steigen ihm über den Kopf und dann glaubt er eine Veränderung an Vivian zu bemerken und sie arbeitet komischer Weiße immer mehr. Für Russell wird sich alles ändern und er glaubt schon nicht mehr an das Glück, aber dann trifft er jemand, den er eigentlich schon so viele Jahre und so gut kennt.
Nicholas Sparks ist ein Meister der Gefühle und hat anscheinend die selben Lieblingsfilme wie ich. Seit du bei mir bist ist ein ganz tolles Buch und zeigt, jedes Ende ist auch die Chance für einen Neuanfang und dass man sich jeden Tag selbst neu kennen lernen kann.
