Italien 1982. Es ist Sommer, es ist heiß, die Pfirsichbäume tragen viele Früchte und der siebzehnjährige Elio hat ein Gefühlschaos in sich. Ein Havard Student kommt bei ihnen im großen Haus unter und dieser Oliver und ein Mädchen aus dem Dorf, bringen ihn völlig durcheinander. Elio liebt die Musik und die Literatur und verliert sich in Tagträumen, schwimmt im Pool und dem großen See und kostet von den saftigen Früchten und dann gibt es die erste Berührung... Call me by your name ist sanft und schön und vor allem klug. Ohne Effekthascherei wird die Geschichte erzählt und es gibt so wunderbare Momente. Wärem, Liebe, Leidenschaft undGlut, aber auch Verzweiflung und Verwirrung, Angst und Tränen. André Aciman ist ein großartiges Buch gelungen und er erzählt eine wunderschöne Geschichte. Sechs Wochen Italien bringen uns Leser auch völlig durcheinander und die Hitze flirrt über die Bäume, genauso wie der Regen auf die Blätter prasselt. Etwas kostbares und besonderes und die Verfilmung ist auch ganz wunderbar gelungen
