From the introduction by Paul Diel: "This personal diary of a psychoanalytic patient illustrates a method of healing which, unlike retrospection and pansexuality, is based on the study of inner motivations... Considering that the search for truth, especially the truth about oneself, is a need common to all human beings and one which runs deeper than the need for camouflage, I felt it might be useful to publish this document.
