Rasanter Roman mit Herz und Esprit
Mit der Karriere ist das so eine Sache. Mal will Katie Lehrerin werden (ist aber schnell von Kindern genervt) dann wieder Psychologin (hat aber Angst vor Verrückten) da ist es doch am besten, sie bleibt, was sie ist, nämlich Kellnerin. Am Kühlschrank in ihrem Café hängen Fotos von ihren Verflossenen, mit denen hat Katie nämlich ungefähr so viel Glück wie mit ihren Karriere-Plänen. Als das Café in London aber von neuen Eigentümern in Besitz genommen wird, ändert sich so einiges. Aber auch zum Besseren? Katie ist sich nicht sicher und beobachte alles mit Argusaugen. Vor allem ihren neuen Chef, der ausgesprochen schöne Augen hatHerrlicher, witziger, unglaublich schneller Erzählstil, am liebsten möchte man aufspringen und besagtes Café aufsuchen, um die beschriebene Atmosphäre auch in Realität erleben zu können.
