When a little turtle comes across a lost hat, he is determined to find its owner.
Someone's hat was blown off by the wind, and Turtle wants to return it. After finding the lost hat, the little turtle sets out to discover who owns it.
He asks Mouse, and Rabbit, and even Crocodile if it belongs to them, but they all say it isn't theirs. Before he gives up his search, he asks Beaver if the missing hat is his. Beaver says it is not his, yet Turtle will not stop asking.
Time after time, each animal tells him that the hat is not theirs. Still, Turtle keeps asking everyone he meets, hoping to find the rightful owner. Whose hat can it be?
