NATURE WRITING:
Ash before Oak is an original addition to the ever-popular category of nature writing, and will appeal to fans of H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald.
DEPRESSION AND MENTAL HEALTH: A deeply enthralling and sensitive exploration of depression, written in prose that is as precise as it is lyrical.
ART WORLD: Jeremy Cooper has a long association with the art world, having worked on Antiques Roadshow and at Sotheby's. His collection of artists' postcards has been turned into a book (published later this month by Thames and Hudson) and an exhibition (at the British Museum until August).
