Night of the Wolf

Two couples came for winter hunting in an abandoned village in the Smolensk region. Having fun, shooting game. On the day of departure, the car did not start. There was practically no food left, and there was nowhere to wait for help. By nightfall, the frost intensified, and wolves howled in the forest. Soon a lost lone hunter knocked on the door, and the next morning one of the girls disappeared. Such is the plot of this thriller, written in a tradition dating back to the medieval Italian short story, Boccaccio's Decameron. People who are in a closed space pass the time by telling stories, but in our case, stories are fatal for storytellers. A novel about love, betrayal, about the relationship between a man and a woman.
