Dr. Hamed Taherdoost is an experienced award-winning leader and R& D professional, who holds a Ph. D. in Computer Science and specializes in Information Technology Management, Research & Development, and Cybersecurity. He has over 20 years of experience in both academic and industrial sectors and has held positions like CTO, CEO, and R& D Manager in various international companies across Cyprus, the UK, Malta, Malaysia, and Canada. He has been involved in several important breakthroughs in IT and industrial projects and contributing to developments in diverse industries such as transportation, laboratories, hospitals, information technology, and oil and gas. In addition to his extensive industry background, Dr. Taherdoost boasts numerous outstanding achievements in academia, including multiple best paper awards and recognition as an outstanding editor and reviewer. He has shared his knowledge globally, teaching in three different part of the world, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America. With a prolific publication record, Dr. Taherdoost has authored over 200 scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings, along with several books focusing on technology and research methodology. He is an active member of several prestigious organizations and societies, including IEEE and IFIP TC 11, and has served as an editorial, reviewer, and advisory board member of various peer-reviewed journals publishing with Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, Inderscience, MDPI, EAI, and IGI Publishing.
