After the Demonic War devastated the mortal realm, hunter cells were established across the globe to protect every living soul from the darkness left behind.

Maddison Wood is part of an alpha cell in the north of England, trained to fight the monsters most people never see. But she has a new duty now. As a Watcher, she serves the Fallen, guardian angels granted the rare privilege of living on Earth.

When a powerful disturbance draws Maddison to the city, she is thrown into the path of a newly fallen angel. Obadiah is a Prime, one of the highest order of angels, and his arrival signals a threat no one can afford to ignore.
