Christmas in Moon's Landing is picture-perfect-until Birdie photographs a clue to murder.
Photographer Birdie Lopez is covering the grand opening of the town's history museum when a delivery driver turns up dead outside. The sheriff's department calls it a tragic slip on the wet steps. But Birdie met Karl Smith that night, and the photographs she took tell a different story: he made it inside the museum, and his delivery was meant for its director.
With Christmas approaching and a fiercely contested sheriff's election underway, few people want Birdie asking questions. Her best friend Blanche is tangled up in the campaign, the police consider the case closed, and the more Birdie learns about Karl's delivery, the less his death looks like an accident.
Birdie has her camera, her stubborn streak, and Butterscotch the coonhound at her side. Can she bring a killer into focus before Moon's Landing celebrates Christmas with one more secret buried?
Murder by Christmas is a festive Moon's Landing cozy mystery filled with small-town intrigue, friendship, a loyal dog, and a little holiday romance.
