But the station's genetically engineered dragons are more intelligent than anyone knows, even Danny. They have been learning and communicating through a global Artificial Intelligence network for decades, and gained not only their own form of magic, but a method for manipulating people's memories.

Jack doesn't want to control the dragons, but he can't let Danny do it, either. Unfortunately, dragons like people don't always cooperate, and civil war looms on both worlds as enemies and allies race to recover the device while the dragons map out their own future: one that may not include humans.
