A French-born Quebec writer, André Marois is the author of over 40 books for adults, children, and teens. In 2013, his novel Les voleurs de mémoire won the Prix des libraires du Québec in the Youth category. He also received the Governor General's Award and the Prix des Incorruptibles in 2015 for Le voleur de sandwichs, as well as the Peuplier Award in 2017 for the picture book Aux toilettes. Since 2006, he has led workshops and given talks on writing, crime fiction, noir short stories, science fiction, and creativity in Canada and Europe.
