CANDICE RANSOM only ever wanted to be a children's book writer. She is the author of over 125 books for kids and young adults, including Apple Picking Day! and Pumpkin Day! in the Step Into Reading series. A teacher in the children's literature program at Hollins University, she lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her cats, Faulkner and Edison.
MIKE YAMADA is the illustrator of Go, Go, Trucks! and Go, Go, Cars! . His bakcground encompasses film, animated movies, games, and themed spaces. He is Production Designer at Walt Disney Animation and the illustrator of several children's books. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his cat. In his spare time, he enjoys the challenge of brewing the perfect cup of coffee, reading, and writing about himself in the third person.
