Orrin Keith Loftin hails from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Growing up as an 'unwanted' son, Orrin grew a love of reading that nothing could destroy. The nuns at his Catholic school made learning fun and fostered a sense of creativity through weekly literary analysis and theater productions. His English class assigned a page and half writing each week, where Orrin began exploring his poetic sense. A retired Captain out of the United States Air Force, Orrin proudly served as a Courseware Developer, a Satellite Operations Officer, a Missile Warning Officer and a Missile Launch Officer. He holds an M. S. in Space Systems Management and Computer Systems Management. Orrin currently resides in and amongst the beautiful mountains and foothills of Great Falls, Montana where he spends his time avidly writing poetry.
