Book one of Colors of Magic, THE WIZARD IN INDIGO, follows the story of Milo O'Brien as he wakes up on his 14th birthday to find that his father David has disappeared.

This is only the first of many mysteries for young Milo. Together with his friends Roan Rivera and Alyx DeLucia, the trio takes their first steps into a realm of magic, illusions, trials of character, and a duel to the death with one of the oldest and most storied mages in Arthurian legend.

Their future adventures will take them through many realms and will follow in the footsteps of the wicked sorceress Morgan le Fay discovering the secret magic she herself employed against the kingdom of Avalon thousands of years prior.
