David Kaiyong Wei, born in 1963, was called by God from a young age. During his childhood, he experienced numerous spiritual visions over several years-his spirit was caught up to heaven, he personally witnessed supernatural miracles, soared with angels, and beheld the glory of the Holy City. The presence of God was deeply planted in his heart. At the age of 19, he had a near-death experience during a snowstorm that lasted seven hours; he was rescued by angels, which defined the direction of his life thereafter.
As an adult, he entered the business world and founded brand consulting firms in Kunming and Beijing, China, serving more than forty companies and publishing three business books. In 2003, the Holy Spirit came upon him like a blazing fire-his life was radically transformed, as if scales fell from his eyes. The following year, in response to God's call, he resolutely laid down his career and went to Saipan, a Pacific island, to fully dedicate himself to missionary work.
In 2012, under God's guidance, he went to the United States for further theological training, receiving a Master's degree in Biblical Studies and later pursuing a Doctor of Ministry program. On October 1, 2017, he was ordained as a pastor in California by six senior pastors, seminary presidents, and leaders of missionary organizations. Subsequently, he founded "The Sheep Gate Kingdom Ministry Center" and "Goshen Christian Church," receiving the vision from Ezekiel 34-to seek the lost sheep. He has since been devoted to evangelism and church shepherding across nations and regions. His ministry has reached believers throughout more than thirty provinces and cities in China, as well as across North America, significantly impacting the spiritual growth of many. He strives to equip the saints and build up the Body of Christ.
