The Void Princess

Shana is a dragon tamer who works on the frontier of colonised space to subdue and repair the feral mechanical dragons built to do heavy labour and transport people between space stations. She certainly doesn't expect to encounter a feral dragon on holiday in a civilised inner city, and expects to find a corpse inside it even less. To get to the bottom of this mystery, Shana and her new dragon will need to travel far beyond frontier space, and uncover a dangerous secret before unknown adversaries plunge all of colonised space into war.

Drops of Blood like Neon Stars

For over a thousand years, humans and vampires have lived in harmony, each depending on the other for survival. The twin cities of Lakeview and Scarlet City are a testament to this harmony; the humans in Lakeview above, the vampires in Scarlet City below. But political unrest is brewing in Scarlet City as a young politician attempt a political takeover, and things aren't much better in Lakeview, where a serial killer is on the loose.

Once it becomes clear that the serial killer is a vampire, and may be eliminating humans on the orders of somebody in Scarlet City, the race is on to figure out exactly what's going on before it spells disaster for humans and vampires alike.
