He wasn't perfect.
But he never stopped fighting to survive.
I'm Not Mr. Perfect! is an honest, deeply personal memoir of love, hardship, redemption, and resilience.
Born into poverty, raised in an alcoholic home, bullied, beaten down, and told he would "never amount to anything," Harry's life could have followed a very different path. Instead, he fought - for survival, for dignity, for love, and ultimately for redemption.
From:
Hitchhiking Route 66 with two dollars in his pocket
Surviving near-death railroad accidents
Escaping drowning
Fighting prostate cancer
Enduring broken marriages
Losing the love of his life to a brain aneurysm
To:
Building a 26-year railroad career
Becoming a devoted father and husband
Discovering faith in the midst of chaos
Learning forgiveness in the face of betrayal
Told through the loving yet honest voice of his fourth wife, Karlene, this memoir blends humor, heartbreak, biblical reflection, and raw truth.
This is not a polished fairy tale.
It is a story of flawed humanity, fierce love, survival, and growth.
