Alex and his crew have finally made it out of the Fringes and into the Core. They have one destination: the Dark Meridian. To get there, they'll have to cross through the Military Police, the Scions, and twelve islands with their bounty posters plastered on every wall.

Alex and the crew have finally breached the Core, and are now fighting their way to Magnus Hortus. They stop on November, and find a town ruled by a wannabe vampire noble. Drawn into a trap by Duke Gavril, will they survive his machinations?
