The Mortal Legion - fall of long night

Memnon is a young man living in a hidden, paradise-like village within Rovahn. He dreams of becoming a hero. His father reveals to him that he was living a false life, he was hiding him for a glorious destiny, and he must leave for the Immortal Kingdom to find his true father and birthright.

Before Memnon can leave, his village is attacked by Cursed Beasts (monsters). His false parents are killed, and Memnon is mortally wounded. He's rescued by the Hellboken crew, a group of mercenaries:

· Killshot: One-eyed captain

· Sophia: Purple-armored warrior

· Jericho: Archer with a sickly body

· Layla: Silver-eyed warrior

· Gabriel: Engineer who built the Hellboken vehicle

Memnon recovers and is initially dismissed as useless. The crew plans to abandon him in a town, but Memnon demonstrates mysterious abilities, his eyes glow golden, and he can sense danger from afar. He saves Jericho from an ambush by a camouflaged Cursed Beast, proving his worth.

The crew discovers Memnon is an "awakened" being, someone with latent power connected to Dominion. Impressed by his potential, Killshot allows Memnon to join the Hellboken crew, promising to train him.
