A Sixty-Minute One-Question Ritual for Work You Can Run This Week Without a Seven-Question Script
A sixty-minute meeting with one question you wrote down before you spoke.
Same clock time. One coworker. One piece of work. One sentence you could be wrong about. You write what they actually say. Then you stop, even if a shorter book of questions is still in your work bag.
This is an operating system for ordinary asking: which person counts, which question is still advice in disguise, what you are not allowed to add afterward, and a hard rule that you do not run a set. It is not a coaching course, not a performance review, not a salary talk, and not the fight you have been saving. A pen, a timer, and one coworker then you put the pen down.
Includes a fifteen-minute quick-start, in-chapter worksheets, a twenty-five-minute short day, brakes for safety, power, and live HR processes, a four-week sprint score, worked weeks, season notes for review season and reorganizations, thirty question shapes, and a photocopy appendix: Person Card, Question Card, Advice Fence, hour log, sprint lock, and a brake check.
Not therapy, medical, legal, or human-resources advice. The author is not a therapist, physician, attorney, or HR officer. Do not use this hour to fire, warn, investigate, or move a price. Do not aim it at a partner, a friend, a relative, or a person who asked you to stop. A blank week is allowed. A second question is not.
