Schein und Sein
Patrick Bateman scheint alles zu haben, was man sich wünscht. Einen super bezahlten Job, keine Überarbeitung, eine tolle große Wohnung, nur die teuersten Klamotten, eine nette Verlobte und er sieht einfach großartig aus. Das alles macht ihn aber nicht glücklich und gerade weil er alles hat, muss er es kompensieren. Seine Leidenschaft für schöne Frauen wird zur Obsession und er findet gefallen an perversen Morden und viel Blut. Auch Geschäftspartner oder verhasst Kollegen müssen so ihr Leben lassen, aber dieser immer perfekte Patrick Bateman scheint doch zu so etwas nicht fähig zu sein denken alle. Oder etwa doch?
