Robert B. Parker (1932-2010) was an American author who wrote more than sixty novels. He is most well-known for the novels that feature the private detective Spenser, which inspired the television series Spenser: For Hire. He twice won the Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America, including a Grand Master Award in 2002. William Windom (1923-2012) was an American actor with more than 200 film and television credits, including Murder, She Wrote and My World and Welcome to It, for which he received an Emmy.
